Bridges crossed and others burned, set ablaze amidst the rocky ruins of walls scaled and left crumbling

The moat swept up by dry desert winds in a furious storm of sand, leaving but the rotting bones of a guardian slain in its wake

Swept as the sand off of feet into arms and separated only by cloth

But for my barrier

A damsel born of distress and disguised in fear, I am yours my Dear

But for my barrier
